Our harmless little blog was one of the first casualties of the state-wide budget cuts. It seems they don't want to spend money to "boost morale" at a time when there's no morale to boost. Whatever. I'm sure our budget of $4.95 a month will save literally hundreds of jobs.
In the meantime we've been operating on next to nothing with a skeleton crew and having a hell of a time making anything work. Take for instance the following video that was intended to be posted in time for St. Patrick's Day. We were so frustrated with the results that we simply scrapped it.
Personally, I never thought it would see the light of day, but just last week an anonymous benefactor presented us with a check for $10 (McDonald's gift certificates actually, but close enough). So now we've been redeemed for another 2 months and we're hoping to make the most of it. We do, however, still have a very serious shortage of photos and could use some help.
